I remember writing down in my journal earlier this year that I will have a private tattoo shop with big windows (gotta get that vitamin D fix), has too many plants (but is there ever really too many plants tho), a space that’s safe and inviting to any and everyone (inclusivity babyyy) I remember even writing it down to the month I would find the place, and sure enough April came around and the perfect spot was found! Quitting my job, then moving to a new state to open a new business has been both exhilarating and terrifying to say the least. But one thing that I wish was shared more when pursuing a new endeavor, is that not a single fucking person knows what they’re doing when they start. They just start and figure it out on the way. So if you find something that lights your soul on fire, don’t get scared of the how. That’ll come later, just start in anyway you can and the answers will find you.
