Dot Work Tattoos

Dotwork is a tattooing technique where the artist tattoos several dots for a striking visual effect. These dots create either the entire image or just the shading. Dotwork used for shading is known as stippling. This technique uses black ink, grey ink, or sometimes red ink. Dotwork is a time-consuming technique, but it is well worth the wait. Each dot must be placed precisely to pull off a clean and legible tattoo.

Photography Examples: Photo Do’s and Don’ts

A photo allows me to see if I need to work around existing tattoos you may have and ensures I can design a custom piece that works with your body. Please be sure the image is clear, and the camera is parallel with the location of your body you would like the tattoo to be. This is best done by having the photo taken by another person. Please avoid mirror selfies and flexing, and be sure to stand in a natural position.
